Devil In The Detail by The Ambience Affair

Stills from the following video were featured in the first Issue of our magazine.

The video was made by “Souljacker” which is a directing team
comprising of Brian O’Brien and Sean Smith who specialise in Music
Video’s, Film, TV and Viral Adverts.

The video was shot over three days in the beautiful surroundings of
Lough Dan, high in the Wicklow Mountains entirely on a Canon EOS 400D
DSLR Stills Camera.

Over 15,000 stills were shot in the making of this video.

The camera’s frame bursts at around 2.5 Frames per second captured the
action and this being around 10% the speed of film or video footage
meant that the action of the actors had to be slowed down to the
extreme. Each shot was then brought back up to full speed of 25 Frames
Per Seconds in post production in order to create the desired effect.

The intention was to create a creepy, other-worldly feel to the
movement of our central character, something similar to that you would
see in an early silent movie.

Since the shooting of the Video The Ambience Affair’s music was
spotted by the producers of Major Television series “CSI New York” who
heavily featured their song “Parting Patterns” in a recent episode.
